Big Fan of Modesty

I've kind of been saving this one. Today is this lovely young woman's birthday. Isn't she beautiful!? My niece is a senior in high school this year and will soon have her whole world changing. I know she's got the skills and abilities to continue to shine. Happy Birthday!  Now let's mention the ah-dorable dress she's got on! First of all, it has a great length and sleeves with a flexible fit for flattery.  The absolute best thing about this outfit (which I didn't get a photo unfortunately), is the back. Super cute black and white dress. Problem: Sheer black scoop neck back. Solution: black cami under dress!  I did not even notice this fix until she pointed it out to me and by that point we were tired of taking pictures :)  I am proud of her for making it modest! 

Ok, it's Friday. It's been a rough week. I needed a laugh. This did it. "Modesty is Hottesty" always makes me laugh. Check out the video: Modesty is Hottesty It is a silly phrase and fun song, but it actually represents a pretty deep truth. Modesty can give you confidence and confidence is attractive! I love that these guys realize that principle. It starts out really great then gets a little funky with the autotuned, but you can tell they had fun making the video. She's got the layers down to perfection!
