So... I have been a little busy with school the past few months and haven't posted anything on here. Mostly because I've been wearing the same, fairly awful, khaki scrubs every day since September. I'll do a post about them later, they are after all modest. Haha.
Winter is in full force! This is usually pretty great for the modesty scene. :) People usually don't like to be frozen so clothing is more covering. The biggest dilemma for trying to find something modest is probably the Christmas or New Year's Eve holiday parties.
Since I decided to go back to school, I have been pinching the pennies like nobodies business. And while, I can't seem to justify buying new clothes right now, I CAN 100% window shop online. I've found a couple of great dresses to share. The first few are from a website with a novel idea called www.renttherunway.com. Think "Rent a Swag" from Parks and Rec. It offers designer clothes for rent at a fraction of the price. Now, that fraction is still pretty darn big for my college budget, but... They are gorgeous. A great thing about this site is that you can search by length, sleeve length, and neckline which is great. I'll post the mid-lengths today and longer lengths later on.
Pamella Roland: Baroness Sheath
This is the first one I found before I figured out you could search by specifics. (Note: The mobile site does not have exactly the same search options as the full site.) I love sparkles and sequins and beads - oh my! This dress is a winner on those counts. I can't say its my favorite dress on the site, but it was the first one I found. It looks a little more boxy than dresses I normally like, but I still think it's adorable.
Lela Rose: Blaue Blume Dress
Blue just happens to be my favorite color and it is a great winter color. This dress is super feminine.
Reem Acra: Golden Lace Locket Dress
Of the knee length dresses on this site, this one was my favorite. It is so classy.
Check back for more updates over the winter break! I will share more modest finds to post! Stay warm everyone!
